Me, Myself and I
My name is Tatiana Adelice Esquivel, I was born on May 11, 1998. I’m seventeen years old and I was born in a small town called Lindsay, California. I have two brothers and one sister, their names are Salvador, Sergio, and Mayra. I live with my parents, while my brothers and sister live with their spouses and children. Our family loves to sing, Every Time we get together to have dinner at my house, we always have to do karaoke. I guess it’s just our thing. My dad was in a band and he was the lead singer. Then at one of his gigs, he happened to meet my mom. They have now been together for thirty-four years.
During High School, I always felt like I was never going to get anything done because I didn’t like doing work. Now that I see how important It Is I know that i have to always try hard and finish every single thing that’s due. I have a lot of support from my friends and family, they’re the ones who always push me to do my best. Even when I’m falling just a little behind, they’re always there to push me back up and I’m very thankful for that. When I graduate I feel like they’re still going to help me with everything, that’s just how our family is, If someone Is down we push each other back up. Throughout High School my whole experience has been great! Through the ups and downs I still try my best to try and fix things. If I set a goal for myself, I have to accomplish it, If I don’t finish It on time, I push myself until I do.
My goals for my future are to graduate High School, graduate from college and join the Police Academy. I always wanted to be a registered nurse, but throughout time my mind has changed and now I currently want to be a Police Officer. To be a Police Officer you have to graduate from High School and at least go to college and finish your general ed classes. Then after that you can sign up for the Police Academy. My parents said that I’ll have their support through every single step of the way, so I’m very thankful for that. The total training you have to go through is about twenty-one weeks.
Overall, life during High School has had It’s ups and downs but has treated me very well. I have learned many things along the way, like If you want finish something you can’t wait for it to finish itself because you’ll never get it done. Whether you have the support from your family or not, you’re capable of doing so much on your own.
